Mini Warehousing Featured in The Boston Globe

Mini Warehousing is excited to announced that it was recently featured in The Boston Gobe! The article, titled, “Repurposed shipping containers spread around Boston”, details some of the projects that we have taken on in the city recently. As author Karishma Mehrotra explains, shipping containers have experienced a rebirth in urban areas like Boston, where they can be used for anything from a makeshift bar in the South End to an art exhibit on the Greenway. Our containers have even been used as backyard farms for Boston-based client, Freight Farms.

The customizable nature of our storage containers allows for a wide variety of uses. Clients also prefer our refurbished storage containers because they are economical and strucuturally sound — a more affordable and safer choice than other options. As Mehrotra writes, the containers posess a “cool” factor that makes them approachable and memorable in the mind of patrons. They have a natural and urban look to them and thus, are a perfect fit in places in Boston where commercial real estate can be limited and pricey.
